Valid EPC for new rental property

We are an HMO and have a current valid EPC certificate. I wish to add a new room to Open Rent but I am asked to purchase a new certificate. How do I get around listing the room on Open Rent without having to purchase a new EPC

I’ve never had to prove an EPC to rent a property via OR, and legally a HMO does not need a EPC anyway.

If Openrent is asking for date, along with dates for gas safety etc, just ignore the date. Its for advertising only, so they can market services.

Thank you. However, once I have submitted my new rental, it says outstanding information

“Purchase an EpC for £…” so I am not even able to submit the property as available for renting

And, we do have a current EPC
