As I’m sure with all properties, broadband at mine is for the whole property, and already contracted, but in my listing it says “view offers” and is a live link to vendors??
This will make applicants think they have to pay extra for it when they don’t! All bills, including broadband, are included in the rent!!
Can I fix this?
Just make it clear in the advert text what is included.
So it’s not possible to make it say “included” or have a tick like for Bill’s?
@Craig41 dont think it’s typical at all - maybe for newer properties, but most places dont come with broadband included [try searching in your area and look at ads] And the same applies on adverts on rightmove. Hence OR tell people what they can get [and probably get a commission from broadband providers].
I’d suggest just putting high up in your advert text the following
BROADBAND INCLUDED.
Anybody intelligent will realise the text below is just a standard box OR put on all their ads. If they genuinely get confused/arent sure they can ask you. If they cant be bothered to do that or have difficulty communicating on such a simple matter, you probably dont want them as tenants
