Carbon monoxide alarms

Hi all, I’ve just read that a carbon monoxide alarm has to be in the same room as the boiler. My boiler is in an airing cupboard in the bathroom and the alarm is on the landing outside the bathroom. Does it actually have to be in the airing cupboard with the boiler? Thanks.

It should be in the same room as the boiler.

I believe youve cited the alarm correctly.

It needs to be in the bathroom where the boiler is
You can’t have it on the landing outside the bathroom

Same room, between 1 to 3m from source of CO, ideally at head height.

Sorry, I didnt read your post properly. A_A and Mark10 are correct.
