Carbon Monoxide Monotors - Bathroom

Hi
From 1st October 2022. legislation requires that Carbon Monoxide alarms are installed in every room that contains a gas boiler.
The boiler in my rental property is in what was the airing cupboard in the bathroom.
All the monitors appear to say avoid humid locations like bathrooms.
Does anyone have a solution - where should the monitor be located?
Thanks
Rob

The rules say in living accomodation rooms. I think bathrooms wouldnt count as you wouldn’t normally spend a long time in it and that having it the detector in hall/landing outside bathroom would be considered sufficient.

Hi Richard
Logic would suggest what you say, but the wording is quite exact:
‘in any room of their properties used wholly or partly as living accommodation where a fixed combustion appliance is present’ (excluding gas cookers).
I’m seeking reassurance
