I have already placed the tenancy deposit along with the first months rent.

I have not received any confirmation from mydeposits in regards to this? How long does this process usually take?

Great question, I had the same one as we just signed an AST and sent the deposit money. I go to the DPS link, it says “deposit not protected” and has a £0 amount. I was starting to worry. Takes up to 30 days? I’ll keep an eye on mine and hopefully no issues!
As a Landlord, I’ve always received confirmation of the deposit paid to Openrent, being lodged with MyDeposits witin 24-48 hours. I’d expect the confirmation to tenant is sent at the same time.
This is for those tenancies created via Openrent RentNow digital sign/up process. If you have paid your Landlord directly & signed with them directly, then this may well take upto 30 days.
