Is it usual that the landford ask me , as a tenant, to pay the deposit, one month, and first month payment, before to have the keys and starts the day contract? Depósit , for me is clear, but first month at the same time? The landford tells me to do total payment through openrent app. Thanks!!
The deposit (upto 5 weeks rent) & first months rent are due before move in, so this sounds correct & normal.
Please ensure that this is a genuine add, on the official Openrent.co.uk website. They will protect your money, so it isn’t handed to the Landlord for 5 days after the tenancy starts in case you have any issues.
I’d add, if you have signed an online Openrent tenancy agreement, they will have also emailed you with all repayment amounts / processes / bank details.

Your rent payments are always in advance. In other words, you pay rent at the start of the month you stay in the property. This means that when you first move in you pay that as well as the deposit.
