Dss advertised but still get refused

Good morning everyone

Just trying to get some help and understand how openrent LLs work.

I have seen a number of properties, and yes unfortunately due to DV issues I am on benefits and with tower hamlets council housed at a hotel with shared kitchen.

I have been told to look for a property privately, which I have been doing since March 2024.

For some reason, although they have DSS accepted after viewing the property I still get refused don’t even get a chance of getting my papers checked.

Does anyone else have similar issues? Or is it just me.

I rent flats in west London. We get 100 enquiries per flat, but due to cost of referencing, etc it’s only worth pursuing a handful, say 5. So they are the odds you are up against. It is probably that the other people applying might look better, e.g. two salaries
