EICR and LA copy?

Hi

Reading up on the gov.uk website to confirm I don’t need a new EICR with a new tenancy and came across the below point

  • Supply the local authority with a copy of this report within 7 days of receiving a request for a copy.

Have people done this? First time I’ve heard of this, mine was carried out in Oct 20 and I haven’t sent them one. It’s privately rented so I’ve not told the LA anything.

You don’t have to send them a copy unless you receive a request for one
