EICR vs Electrical Installation Certificate

Dear all,

I have a question re the new legislation for EICR that became effective from 1 Jul 2020.
I had obtained an EICR for my property back in 2016 when I purchased it, and then I obtained a Domestic Electrical Installation Certificate last year when I replaced my kitchen. The two reports look almost exactly the same to me in terms of the items the electricians checked (i.e. wiring, circuits, consumer units, protections, etc.), except that the titles are slightly different. Can I please check if the Domestic Electric Installation Certificate is the same as EICR?

I heard that DEIC is sufficient, but you should check with someone like NAPIT.
