Can anyone recommend an electrician for a light switch not working in my property in east London. My last tradesmen left and I would be grateful for any advice
You could post your job on MyBuilder or Checkatrade, The tradesmen that are active on these sights have to submit their qualifications and they will usually have positive reviews from previous customers.

Problem with check a con man is that poor reviews aren’t posted. Asking friends or neighbours is a better approach

er… I’ve def left poor reviews which have been posted. They verify that you actually employed the trade by asking for an invoice or something similar.
I have used Newman’s electrical but that was a few years ago and wasn’t on a difficult job
