Enfranchisement of freehold

Hi I am one of 7 leaseholders who have been offered first refusal to purchase the freehold of the building from our landlord. Has anyone any experience of a Section 6 notice accepting the offer? In particular I am after a template to show what we collectively need to include in the notice.

We have realised a little late in the day that we probably need a specialist solicitor to deal with this (our appointed solicitor is only qualified to deal with the conveyancing of the transfer of title). However we know we can submit the S6 notice yourselves but there needs to ve precise wording to ensure it is a valid offer. Any advice or templates we can refer to?

I would change solicitor. Also, have you checked the price is reasonable?
Free advice is available from the leasehold advisory service. They are quite good

We did this using a specialist solicitor. There are very set criteria on the valuation of the freehold. The solicitor guided us through the process, including setting up a company to own the freehold and our joint responsibilities as directors. Was fairly straightforward.
