I ask for the landlords name he refused
He send a private email to send over screenshots of my rental history five years he insisted on
Which would be needed to consider me for the viewing
He has them now as I couldn’t upload them onto open rent message
but I only sent the start and end rental information would of been pages and pages otherwise
He then blocked me as I didn’t provide the five years history
Although the history stated the history of out money to to the agency
Is this safe to hand over personal statements
He refused to comment on what he would do with them afterwards
Check if he’s registered with the ICO. Either way, I would make a complaint to them and to Openrent. They should be banning landlords who continue to do this.

Thanks for replying I already sent two bank statements with history of my rent being paid
But as I wanted his full name which he never gave me for some reason I felt that would be enough to start
Now I have no idea what he’ll do with my information?
I have his email address still was going to ask if he would delete it

I already did now I’m paranoid what he will do with my bank statements it was just a screenshot of the start of the five years and today date
He wanted all the in between statements
But I wanted his full name first which he did not give
Just a car business email which was registered under a different name to the one he was going under well it was listed the property under a estate agent
So he didn’t feel it necessary to give me his name which I thought was suspicious as I wasn’t talking to the estate agency he was the landlord I was talking with
