Placed holding deposit and was accepted by landlord. I was called that a form will be sent to email to fill but I never received it. Deposit was later declined due to form. Landlord said will contact open rent. My question is who is suppose to send the form to my mail, landlord or open rent?
Not every Landlord who advertises on Openrent use the Openrent RentNow system for referencing, collecting rent/ deposit & digital sign up.
If they are using RentNow, and have chosen to reference you, you would have received an email for digitally entering reference info via Openrent. Check your spam folder.
Have you just paid the holding deposit (1wks rent) to Openrent, or alternative arrangements direct with Landlord?
You need to message Landlord via Openrent messaging as you did for your original enquiry, and ask them for next steps. If you get no reply, I’d assume they don’t know what they are doing, or don’t want you as a tenant, and move-on
