Fridge Freezer Broken Handle

Hello,

Been living in a flat for 3 and a half years now, it has a small under counter fridge with a window freezer. Of course, as we are about to move out in a month the handle of the window freezer has broken, cant glue it back on either.

Any ideas where this leaves us with the deposit? Just for context, rest of the flat is in great condition apart form the usual wear and tear, It has been well looked after.

Find the make and model and see if you can source a replacement door/handle online. Ive found all kinds of similar things on ebay and other sites.

Guessing that this was already in the property when you moved in?
How old is said appliance?
As someone has said above have a look on e bay or other sites (maybe even a scrap man) see if they have one similar you could swap out
Personally (and im not a ll) i would be open and honest with them about it especially if its an.older appliance however in all the years ive had fridge freezers etc ive never known one.just break so technically you have broken it so if you had to pay for new handle from deposit its your own doing (however if its a very old appliance it may be classed as wear and tare although i dont personally know how long they are meant to last)
