Gas and safety certificate price issues

I have been using OpenRent for the past six years for the same property. Recently, I booked a gas and safety check and paid £45 for the service. However, after the inspection, the engineer requested an additional £15 for the gas hob. This property is brand new, and we have not made any modifications.

For the past six years, we have only paid £45 for the gas and safety check. This sudden increase in charges is unexpected and seems unwarranted. We have communicated this issue to OpenRent, but they have not provided a satisfactory explanation.
