Gas safe renewal date

Learnt something new….

You can renew a gas safe 2 months early and keep its original renewal date.

My Gas safe engineers have never said this and always stick on 12 months, often resulting in wasting a month or so.

News to anyone else?

Same principle as MOT, which is upto one month before.
