I’ve had a property get stuck and it’s not been rented. After a week it drops right down on viewings. But I’ve heard if you drop the price by 2% it’ll pop back to the top of searches again. Is this right?

The guidance that we’ve received from Rightmove is that properties will be updated with “Reduced Today” if the price is reduced by more than 2% at once. This does not apply to OpenRent or other property portals.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the property will appear at the top of the search as this falls under the practice of portal juggling which Trading Standards have stated is against trading regulations. You can read more about that here:
