Insurers demanding more action about Legionaires disease / Legionellosis / Legionella - who does these risk assessments?

We are changing our insurers and the new insurers (Aviva) are demanding action with regard to Legionella / Legionellosis / Legionnaires Disease which goes beyond what I have done up to now. Specifically I have to comply with a code of practice which is multiple pages of text and I’m past the age when I want to deal with details like this. I would rather pay someone.
The only firm ever mentioned on OpenRent for doing risk assessments for Legionnella is Qube. Are there any others which landlords can recommend?

I do a basic risk assessment which I update every 2 years, (usually little more than a change of date). I believe this is a legal requirement. I’ve never had an insurance company mention legionella and if they did I would find a different insurer.

I looked at your website, I don’t think it’s going to work for us. My budget for this would be £100 per property.

To be honest, if you’re paying £100 for a risk assessment, it’s likely not worth the money. You’re better off doing this type of assessment yourself. Feel free to give me a call next week, and I’ll gladly offer some free advice and support.
