I’m renting out for first time through Open Rent.
I am currently going through checks, bay tenants wanted to move in next Monday 11th Dec, but refs are taking a little while.
Flat is not in London, but I am in Scotland. I had planned to post tenants the keys, but time has run out.
Do open rent run a key transfer service? Or does anyone know of another service that light manage this?

Dont be rushed into this. Make sure you have all the references and documents signed before they get any keys.
Who is doing the check-in? You need someone on hand to run through the inventory before they sign it or they could claim things were already damaged. Also you have a legal duty to demonstrate the smoke and CO alarms on day 1 of the tenancy.
This is a disaster waiting to happen. You have to do things properly or live to regret.
You need a local agent to manage this. You can use their tenant find only service, but to be honest sounds like you need fully managed.
