Landlord Name on Tenancy

Hello Landlords!

For privacy reasons, I put landlord name e.g. J Smith instead of John Smith on the tenancy agreement. However, would that be an issue when I serve notices such that if I serve a section 21 or 8 for example and tenants don’t comply and ended up heading to settle in court?

Will it be a total showstopper e.g. court reject the request due to name not matching full name etc. or it shouldn’t be an issue? If it is not ok, how do I rectify this?

Anyone who experienced this will be more than welcome to share your experience :slight_smile:

I wouldnt want to test it in court personally.
