Message from OpenRent about a service I have not asked for

I have received a text from Open Rent saying they will charge me 60 pounds if I fail to update the EICR in my tenancy. I have contracted the EICR service for next Friday through Open Rent but they seem not to notice. The text message says they will charge me in my debit card ending in the last 4 digits - which are correct.

Is this a scam? how can I stop them taking the money?

How!? Call the bank and ask to block the receiver Thats one way —— and first of course communicate directly —— then just calm the bank ——-hi wow that help.

Im confused. What do you mean ‘You have contacted the EICR service for next Friday’?

Have you ordered a EICR service? If not, OR will not be charging you.
