Missing fire alarm in inventory cause for alarm!

We used OpenRent’s recommended Inventory check-in service for our area and the assessor missed the fire alarms so the report says. fire Alarms - no.

We disputed it and they refuse to update the “locked” report, which has been signed by the tenant and instead want to provide an addendum.

If this was a concern over the cleanlness of an oven then sure, no problem. But my insurance and council rental licence alll expect proof of fire-alarms and the fact an assessor locked a report with this kind of mistake is really concerning.

There is a fire-alarm on each floor, they are Nest Protects so the assoessor thought they were wifi-extenders.

Anyone had experiance of fighting an inventory check from MIS?
