Open Rent Should confirm with Landlord the Membership number first before protecting the deposit

We have been used Open Rent for many years. Since they used to protect the deposit, they no longer confirm the Membership number before they protect the deposit. Due to the tax rule change, some people might use the limited company name to buy the house. So the landlord details in will be different, it might be company name, it might be personal name.
Openn Rent should confirm with landlord the membership number first before they protect the deposit.
Now the deposit is protected in the wrong landlord details. No matter how many time I called Open Rent or sent them emails, It seems no one was understanding and listening, and they just went ahead with the wrong details. Very disappointed this time.
