Open Rent won't Accept Reference

I work at Santander and have gone through the processes with HR to get my employer reference to my landlord through open rent, however open rent is saying they will not accept it because its in standard referencing format. Santander assure me they have done referencing through open rent before and are unsure as to why it isnt being accepted.

Hi Charles,

Your contact within Santander HR can provide a “standard format” reference if they wish / prefer. They can do this by following the instructions in our email to them. We don’t recommend this vs. filling out the form directly, but it’s incorrect to say we won’t accept a reference in that format and this is 100% possible from the email we’ve sent them.

I’m afraid we can’t do this on their behalf, and nor can you, so your HR contact will need to follow the instructions as provided.
