Paying first months rent and deposit via OpenRent Portal

Hey all. So I am due to start a tenancy on the 7th August but cannot pay the full amount needed until the 5th August.

My question is how long does is take for this to show on the Portal so that the Landlord can release the keys.

I have seen a lot of things saying within an hour and others saying 3 working days so I am really unsure.

It will depend on your bank.

“When paying the final balance, you can pay either by UK debit card or else by bank transfer.”

If you pay by debit card it’s instant so maybe just do that instead?
