Dec 23. I have a married couple interested in my 2B flat. She has submitted a share code and DOB , all okay. The husband is waiting for a visa renewal so he cannot submit a share code for me to check on line. I received an email from LCS@homeoffice.gov.uk with a PDF attached saying :
2 Outcome of our check - You may let to this person at the address provided
below.
Has anyone come across this? If so, what steps do you take ?

I have a married couple from Hong Kong as tenants. They both provided me with their Share Codes and I did the same as you and got an email response saying that they have the right to remain for 5 years. Store that email response incase of any come backs later on. The other tenant will need to provide you with their own share code for you to be able to put them on the tenancy. May be you could go onto the Home Office website and see if there is any info on what to do if a person is awaiting a visa renewal.
If you have a Home Office email confirming the right to rent, that is fine. I’ve had them too in the past when a share code hasn’t been available.
