can i use my own AST contract when purchasing Rental guarantee insurance, or do i have to use Openrent’s ast ?
I assume you can use your own, but who are you buying RGI insurance from, and what are their rules?
@John193 as you can use any AST, whether it meets the requirements for RGI depends on RGI insurer’s requirements. Ask your insurer if they require the use of a specific AST.
Openrent’s RGI is only available if you used OR referencing I think but not sure if they would allow you to use your own AST. @mod_harry may be able to advise

In order to be eligible for our Rent Guarantee Insurance, you must reference your tenants with us. Referencing and insurance can be purchased independently from Rent Now (our tenancy creation service) so you’re welcome to use your own contract.
