Hi, has anyone used the Reposit deposit replacement scheme? If so how good or bad were they regarding following the tenant leaving with some repairs required following damage by the tenant?

I am just going through this process now and I have found Reposit to be an absolute nightmare. They look at the bills and say we think half or £0 is fair. It seems to be completely geared to allowing the tenants to walk away from their responsibilities. In my case fly-tipping, running an illegal business from my property and trashing the place. I would tell any Landlord/Landlady to avoid this at all costs. It also takes huge amounts of time to fill in all the forms. Can’t go into all the details at this time, but it has proven both a nightmare process, and not completed in the time advertised and on a claim where my costs exceeded the deposit I did not get more than a quarter of the deposit. I hope you have a better time of it.
AVOID REPOSIT would be my advice to Landlords.
