My wife’s Facebook account was hacked two months ago. We have been getting messages on Facebook to her new account from Facebook users all over England. The scammer has been using openrent to take deposit and first month rent. One guy had already paid the scammer £1700.
We have tried to get my wife’s Facebook account back but they have encrypted the emails so we can’t change the password or get back in to the account.
Just a message to be careful as we have reported it to the police but they can’t do nothing apparently.
My wife’s account name is under the name (Shannon Lithgow) there’s also pictures of my kids on the page so just look out and if you see this account on Facebook letting page report it as hacked.
