Has anyone been contacted regarding refunds for overpaid stamp duty?
I keep hearing stories from other landlords of refunds they have received for stamp duty they paid on properties that needed refurbishment which supposedly can be claimed back. I have also heard of a company called ‘TYH Claims’ local to me in Manchester that is handling this as well as others in London however I am sceptical about trying it.
Has anyone had success with this?

I did hear of no-win no-fee which sounds interesting but I would be curious as to what percentage they take of the final claim.
I tried this on 2 different properties on a no win no fee basis and was successful on both, was very happy with the service so happy to refer the company.
I used TYH claims from Manchester after meeting them in the National landlords show in November and was presently surprised that my claim went though smoothly on no win no fee basis.
