Looking for advice regarding moving in with my boyfriend. We are looking to move in together and rent a one bed when my current tenancy runs out in September. I currently work and we both earn enough to pass affordability checks for our budget however, I will be returning to university in September to complete a masters in Architecture. I have been sponsored by my current job so would still have a monthly income but not enough to pass affordability checks.
If my boyfriend can prove that he passes affordability for his half of the rent and I have a guarantor and proof of student finance payments, is this enough to be accepted for a rental?
