Our new tenants won’t have the funds to pay the deposit and first months rent until one working day before the agreed move date. They will pay using faster payments - what is the time taken by Openrent to confirm clearance of funds? Is the only way to be certain of clearance in time to have the monies paid directly to me?
why would you let them move in before funds are in your bank?
That’s the point, I won’t.
It is in my and their interests for the tenancy to start on Monday 30th September. They won’t be in a position to make payment until Friday 27th September. I just want to know whether Openrent will be able to clear the funds in time. If not I will have to do things outside of a Openrent.
