When can notice be given in a 12 month contract

Does anyone know. I have a 12 month contract. Can you give notice after 4 months so that tenants can leave after 6 months?

I refer to this in the contract:
12.6. The Initial Term of this tenancy agreement may be terminated by either party giving the other at least two
months’ notice in writing, such notice not to expire until at least 6 months after the start of the Term.

Yes, thats correct. Notice any time from day 1 month 5.
