My son is being evicted after 19 years from his studio flat as his landlord is selling up to retire. My son has credit card defaults and is in a debt management scheme. Despite that in 19 years he’s never missed paying his rent or utility bills. However he is funding it impossible to rent another place despite a good reference from his current landlord. If he cantfind somewhere he will have to give up his job and move 300 miles to come and live with us, which obviously he doesn’t want to do.
I am willing to guarantor the rent etc, pay up to 3 months rent in advance for him, or rent a place myself on his behalf. Are there any landlords in Crawley West Sussex that would consider him?
