How can we do employment reference check by submitting documents mentioning the income of the applicant with payslips attached to it? In the system of open rent there is no option to do so. Also, the company my husband is working do not prefer filling up verification form sent from open rent in the line manager’s mailbox.
There has been a rise in the number of tenants faking pay-slips and other documents in order to get a tenancy. For this reason it is generally regarded as unsafe for a landlord to rely on such documents and they are advised to insist on a report directly from the manager.
