I have found it extremely difficult to navigate OpenRent despite having used it twice before. I finally got to sign the tenancy agreement but I’ve had nothing from OR and neither has my tenant. I can’t see how to proceed and neither can she. I’ve been going round in circles. Please help me to finalise this let.

Check your spam. If you have both signed OR will have sent an email with final signed contract to both you and tenant

This makes no sense. You say you have managed to sign, but the tenant hasn’t received it to sign. Openrent RentNow works by ‘always’ requiring the tenant to sign first, so you will NOT receive the contract to sign until they have signed it.
So either you have both signed, or non of you have.
You should be able to log into the portal to view the current status of the contract.

Thanks but my tenant hasn’t received the contract to sign. Tenancy Reference Complete. Make Decision and Continue . Filled and signed contract.
And that’s it. Nothing else happens. I’m going round in circles. Please someone help me. My tenant is not happy either.
Do I have to upload the documents associated with EPC, EICR etc? I filled in expiry dates but only managed to upload the EPC. But I still got to the signing page.
I cannot upload the other documents. I’ve tried for hours. Seriously. I upload them to Drive but when I try to open the pdf it says not uploaded.
You couldn’t have signed it if the Tenant hasn’t received it.
You don’t have to upload any certificates, but I would recommend you do upload the gas safety, electrical safety etc so that these are served on the Tenant as part of the process.
It’s difficult to understand what’s going wrong without seeing your screen.
But I have signed! I’ve gone step by step as I’ve written and it takes me to seeing yh contract and signing it on page 19. Nowhere does it say about sending to tenant. No other instructions. I’ve managed to upload the EPC, EICR& Gas safety Cert. What screen would you like to see. If I can do it. Thanks for your help.
I think Iay have done I!?? Different pages are coming up saying agreement has been sent to all parties. (1 tenant 2 guarantors). After they sign then I can sign. First time I’ve seen this. Don’t ask me how I’m now brain dead. Thank you . For now!
