I’ve never had landlord insurance and want to take it out for 3 properties. Any recommendations?
Ive done research and Alan Boswell brokers for Aviva seem reasonable?

Why would you not want to insure your building? Surely this is more important than your presumably lower value contents?
Why! Because I own a flat in a building which is insured and paid for by our service charge.
Fair enough. I did not know that & presumed it was a house, not a flat. Sorry, all my rental properties are houses, so never considered.

I’ve had various in the past including AXA and LV… used to use Discount Insurance as a brokers. I usually shop around when renewals come up unless the renewal is within reason.
I use Simply Business for everything. I have the cover you have said plus cover for non payment of the rent and also Home Emergency Cover on case of gas, electric or water issues
