I apply for a house , spoke with landlord , told landlord i will do the payment of deposit to apply by the house thru openrent , and the sam landlord told me dont do it because i like to see my tenants by face and you no will be able to rent because she whant to see me
so go and see her first and then if all ok ,do the deposit thru openrent

It will be difficult to find somewhere. No credible landlord will take a deposit off someone who hasn’t even viewed property.
Bear in mind there’s a massive number of tenants applying for the same properties now, so low risk option will be landlords first choice.
Landlords want to meet the tenant before letting to them, to effectively interview them.

Ask the landlord if you can view the property remotely through a video and then do a skype or zoom call with them to discuss it.
