Hi All, I’m completely new to renting and my situation has required me to get a rented property urgently. I dont have much spare collateral as Im paying a mortgage but would like to get a good low value deal ASAP … I’m creditable, working professional with 2 x jobs and a charity volunteer so there are absolutely no issues with background checks and I also have an enhanced DBS and excellent credit rating. Any help is gratefully received 
If you want to get somewhere you have to apply saying what your situation is, and be able to show you can afford the rent, just like anyone else.
Try registering with some agents too, just remember they will never ever call you back you have to keep calling them and make sure you are on their radar so they think of you as a potential tenant when something suitable comes up

Probably best to walk into a few local estate/rental agents and ask what properties are on their books that you can afford. Have an in depth discussion about your needs with them. They may be open today if you walk down your local high street or pick up the phone. Face to Face is always best to build relationships where you are in need of getting a service quickly.
